Vice President’s Challenge Quilt 2023

· Theme: Your Origin Story (Where do you come from?)

         Ideas: Can be anything that depicts your roots. 

Quilt block from the state you were born in or grew up in?

 Landscape quilt or something that shows the landscape (Kansas wheatfields or Georgia mountains)

Maybe your origin story doesn’t have anything to do with a place, perhaps it’s something that sparked your passions in life?

You may interpret the Theme, anyway that you would like!

· Size: Perimeter -Between 80-264 inches

· Must use 3 techniques, ex. Applique, paper piecing, English Paper Piecing, embellishment, different types of fabrics, etc.

· Will be anonymously displayed and voted on in November for favorite quilt by guild members. Quilts must meet basic guidelines to be considered. 

· Winning quilt will be awarded a $50 gift certificate. Those who participate will receive a bead/charm.
